Mastwave Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Mastwave collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Mastwave mobile application, Mac application and agent, websites, and related services.

1. Information We Process

Account Information

We process information needed to create and manage your account, such as your email address, authentication information, account identifiers, and profile information you choose to provide.

Task and Service Data

To coordinate development tasks between your devices, Mastwave may process and store:

  • task instructions;
  • project names and project metadata;
  • device and pairing information;
  • task status and lifecycle information;
  • execution reports and summaries;
  • proposals and review results;
  • supported task artifacts;
  • executor and model metadata;
  • usage and capacity information;
  • operational, diagnostic, and security metadata.

Local Project Source Code and Execution Results

Mastwave does not clone, sync, or upload your complete project repository. Your project workspace lives on your Mac, and the local AI coding tools you configure run, and make changes, directly within that workspace.

So that you can review what happened from your phone or another device, Mastwave's service saves the results your tasks and conversations actually produce. Depending on what you do, this can include:

  • execution reports and AI output, which may quote or reference source code excerpts the AI used;
  • Propose Edit results, which store the complete proposed patch (a unified diff) and may therefore contain your actual source code;
  • chat messages and attachments, which store the content you and the AI actually exchanged;
  • task artifacts, which store files a task explicitly produces or that you explicitly upload.

This content is associated with your account and is protected by the same access controls as the rest of your Mastwave service data.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide and operate Mastwave;
  • authenticate users and pair devices;
  • route and coordinate tasks;
  • display task status, reports, reviews, and usage information;
  • maintain reliability and security;
  • diagnose failures and prevent abuse;
  • support account and service operations;
  • improve Mastwave's functionality and user experience.

3. Service Providers and Third-Party Tools

Mastwave relies on infrastructure and service providers to operate parts of the Service, including authentication, database, storage, hosting, and related infrastructure.

Mastwave may also interact with third-party AI coding tools that you choose to install, configure, or authenticate.

Those third-party tools may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies. Mastwave does not control their independent data practices.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share or process information with service providers when necessary to operate, secure, and maintain Mastwave.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a legitimate corporate transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements.

5. Data Retention

We retain service data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Mastwave, maintain security and reliability, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and operational requirements.

When you delete your Mastwave account, Mastwave initiates deletion of the account and associated account-owned service data from its active systems, subject to technical, security, legal, and backup-related retention requirements where applicable.

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your Mastwave account through the application where the feature is available.

Deleting your account removes associated Mastwave service data according to our deletion process.

Deleting your Mastwave account does not delete project source code or local project folders stored on your Mac.

Local Mastwave project configuration that is designed to remain on your Mac may remain available locally after account deletion so that the Mac can later be paired with another account.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed by Mastwave.

No system can guarantee absolute security. You are also responsible for protecting your account credentials, devices, local development environment, and third-party AI tool credentials.

8. International Processing

Mastwave and its service providers may process information in countries or regions other than where you live.

Where required, we take appropriate steps to handle information in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

9. Children's Privacy

Mastwave is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required to consent to use of online services in their jurisdiction.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain information about how your data is processed.

You may also delete your Mastwave account using the account deletion feature where available.

To make another privacy request, contact us using the information below.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Mastwave evolves or legal requirements change.

We will update the effective date when changes become effective and provide additional notice where appropriate.
