Mastwave
Mastwave Terms of Service
Effective date: August 31, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Mastwave, including the Mastwave mobile application, Mac application and agent, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account or using Mastwave, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Mastwave helps you send, coordinate, monitor, and review AI-assisted development tasks between your devices and supported AI coding tools.
Mastwave does not guarantee that AI-generated code, recommendations, edits, reports, or other outputs will be correct, secure, complete, or suitable for your intended purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on, applying, publishing, or deploying them.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Mastwave account and the devices connected to it.
You must provide accurate information when creating or maintaining your account and must not use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by a failure of Mastwave's systems.
3. Your Projects and Content
You retain ownership of your project source code and other content that you own.
During normal task execution, Mastwave is designed so that your project source code remains on your Mac rather than being uploaded to Mastwave's central service.
To operate the Service, Mastwave may transmit and store service data such as task instructions, project metadata, task status, execution reports, proposals, review results, supported artifacts, executor and model metadata, and usage records.
You grant Mastwave the limited rights necessary to process this service data solely to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
4. AI and Third-Party Tools
Mastwave may work with third-party AI coding tools and services, including tools that you install, configure, authenticate, or use on your Mac.
Your use of third-party tools may also be governed by their own terms, privacy policies, licenses, subscriptions, and usage limits.
Mastwave does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, outputs, pricing, policies, or independent processing of information.
5. Local Execution
The Mastwave Mac Agent can execute development tasks against project folders that you choose to make available locally.
You are responsible for selecting appropriate projects, permissions, execution modes, and AI tools.
Some development tasks can modify or delete local files, execute commands, or otherwise change your development environment. Review task permissions and outputs carefully.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use Mastwave to:
- violate applicable law or the rights of others;
- gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data;
- distribute malware or intentionally harmful software;
- interfere with or abuse the Service or its infrastructure;
- circumvent security, access, or usage restrictions;
- use the Service in a manner that materially harms other users or third parties.
7. Availability and Changes
Mastwave may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service.
Features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, third-party dependencies, network conditions, technical failures, or other operational reasons.
8. Account Termination and Deletion
You may stop using Mastwave at any time.
Where available, you may delete your Mastwave account through the application. Account deletion removes the account and associated Mastwave service data according to Mastwave's deletion process and Privacy Policy.
Deleting your Mastwave account does not delete project source code stored locally on your Mac.
Mastwave may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, comply with law, address abuse, or enforce these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
Mastwave and its original software, interface, branding, documentation, and service technology are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Mastwave technology to you.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
AI-assisted development involves inherent uncertainty. You are responsible for testing, reviewing, backing up, and validating changes before using them in production or other important environments.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mastwave will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves or legal requirements change.
When appropriate, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice of material changes.
