  2. Install Mastwave on your iPhone
  3. Pair your devices
  4. Add a local project
  5. Configure a supported AI coding tool
  6. Send your first task

Mac App

The Mastwave Mac App:

  • Runs the Mastwave Agent locally
  • Connects your local projects
  • Detects supported AI coding tools
  • Receives work sent from Mastwave on iPhone

Your project workspace stays on your Mac.

Pairing

  1. Open Mastwave on your Mac
  2. Go to Pair iPhone
  3. Follow the pairing flow on your iPhone
  4. Confirm the connection status

Local Projects

Add a local project workspace in the Mac App. Mastwave does not clone, sync, or upload your complete project repository. AI coding tools execute against that workspace directly on your Mac.

AI Tools

Mastwave currently supports these AI coding tools:

  • Claude Code
  • Codex
  • Kimi

AI coding tools must be installed and configured locally before Mastwave can use them.

Tasks & Review

From your iPhone, you can:

  • Send development tasks
  • Follow execution progress
  • Review execution results
  • Review proposals before applying changes, where applicable

Chat

Project Chat lets you ask questions about a connected project, receive AI responses, and review supported chat artifacts.

Automations

Automations can:

  • Run supported workflows on a schedule
  • Support Chat automation
  • Support a multi-agent Review workflow, where configured

A proposal can advance through review automatically. Applying changes is never automatic — that decision stays yours.

Troubleshooting

Mac shows offline

Confirm the Mastwave Mac App is running and that your Mac has an internet connection.

iPhone is not connected

Confirm the Mac Agent status in the Mac App, and confirm your iPhone has an internet connection.

AI tool is unavailable

Confirm the selected AI coding tool is installed and configured on your Mac.

Task cannot start

Confirm the Mastwave Mac App is running, the Agent status is connected, and the selected AI tool is installed and configured.

Project is unavailable

Confirm the project still exists locally on your Mac and that the Mac App is running.
